XyliMelts are small adhering discs that stick to the gums or teeth and slowly release xylitol to keep the mouth moist. People use them for dry mouth at night, during the day, or when medications or mouth breathing leave the mouth uncomfortably dry. Because they dissolve slowly, a single disc can work for hours while you sleep.

What's inside

• Xylitol, a sugar-free sweetener that encourages saliva flow
• Non-acidic formula with a pH of 8 to help neutralize acids in the mouth
• Up to 8 hours of moisture per disc
• Mild mint flavor, also helps freshen breath
• 100 discs per package

How to use

Place the adhesive side of the disc against the gum, just outside the molars, and let it adhere. Use one or two discs at bedtime and one during the day as needed. Discs are travel-friendly and require no water. Keep away from pets, since xylitol is toxic to dogs.

Why we carry it

Dry mouth sprays and rinses wear off in minutes. XyliMelts stay in place and keep working through the night, which is when dry mouth is most disruptive. The sugar-free, non-acidic formula is also kinder to teeth than lozenges or hard candy, making it a sensible everyday oral-care option.
