Qing Dai, known in English as indigo naturalis, is a deep blue powder prepared from indigo-bearing plants and used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries. In classical practice it is categorized as a cooling herb, and it is usually taken under the guidance of a trained herbalist as part of a broader formula or protocol.

What's inside

• Qing Dai (indigo naturalis) herbal extract
• Concentrated extract delivering about five times the strength of the whole herb
• 100 capsules per bottle
• Free of sulfur preservatives
• Produced with Treasure of the East's patented extraction technology

Who it's for

This product is intended for people working with an acupuncturist or TCM practitioner who has recommended Qing Dai. Follow your practitioner's dosing instructions rather than self-prescribing, and do not use it long-term without supervision. It is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing. Keep in mind that indigo can temporarily tint the stool or urine.

Why we carry it

Treasure of the East is a practitioner-grade Chinese herb brand, and its extracts are standardized to a stated concentration rather than sold as loose powder of unknown strength. Having Qing Dai in a labeled, sulfur-free capsule gives practitioners and their clients a consistent, easy-to-take form of a herb that is otherwise hard to find in reliable quality.
